Where the Bees Go

A honey bee by the fence line, where the mowers do not mow

Where the mowers do not mow,
That is where wild flowers grow,
That is where the bees all go.

Some say reap the things you sow.
I say let it rain and snow,
Let the wind choose what will grow.

A dust storm approaches Stratford, Texas, in 1935.

Where mankind chose what to grow
That's where yawning deserts show;
Dustbowls howl and and sandstorms blow.

But where idle chimpanzees
Do exactly as they please,
That's where fruit can grow on trees.
