I am a primatologist who spends twelve hours most days in the company of a thirteen year old chimpanzee named Bow. I am also an editor with Inverted-A Press.
Wow Aya! Your Weigela is so beautifully loaded with blooms! I bet they were very fragrant. I enjoyed the video of you and Bow watching Sword's concert. Was she part of the choir, the single female soloist, or playing an instrument? Did you have to warn the roofer that he would be supervised by a chimpanzee? HA! Great summary update and enjoyed the music you used at the end!
Thanks, Kathy! The Weigela has really grown on me, and I just realized yesterday that we have another bush like that growing in the pasture, though it only started blooming this year.
Sword was just part of the choir. She has a beautiful voice, but she prefers singing with others over singing alone.
The roofer knows all about Bow! Bow actually likes him, so that is one reason we use his services. It's always good to have someone chimp friendly doing the work.
